Orizon and Minsait sign an alliance to extend technology performance solutions in the market

Orizon and Minsait, an Indra Group company, agree to extend Orizon's performance technology and services in Spain and seven other countries.

Madrid, 11 April 2025. – Orizon, a company specialising in software performance optimisation, and Minsait, an Indra Group company, have signed a strategic agreement to extend the use of Orizon's technology, methodology and services in the market, which can guarantee the optimal performance and operational efficiency of technology infrastructure.

The agreement, the first initiative in the market to treat performance and efficiency services as an intrinsic part of technology, will apply in Spain and, in a first phase, also aims to reach large companies in Italy, Portugal, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Chile. According to both companies, the initiative is especially significant for the transformation of the sector, as it will consolidate efficiency and performance as key factors in business competitiveness.

Minsait and Orizon will offer companies the chance to raise efficiency and reduce the high costs of their technology infrastructure using Orizon's DevPerOps methodology and BOA platform, which can monitor the dynamic behaviour of software without interruption, both in development and in operation.

Orizon's BOA platform detects and eliminates problems and also optimises continuously. According to both companies, this means a paradigm shift in technology performance management, as it allows companies to optimise processing (CPU) consumption on central systems (mainframe) by up to 35%, reduce online response times by 10-30% and shorten data consolidation (batch) processes by up to 30%.

Both companies thus consolidate their position in the IT application performance market, which is growing, driven by the increasing complexity of the technology that supports large companies' business and by their managers' need to contain costs. Orizon estimates that this market is currently worth around $10 billion and will grow by 20% a year over the next two years.

Both companies agree that there is a large potential market for performance improvement services, especially among companies in financial services, public administration and energy. In most of these companies, cloud infrastructure costs are growing by 20% a year, and overall spending exceeds €15,000 million on mainframe systems and €21,600 million on Oracle infrastructure, so for Minsait and Orizon there is a very large potential saving for customers using these services.

According to Ángel Pineda, CEO of Orizon, "this alliance opens a new channel for us to help large companies get the most value from their technology investments, in terms of both cost and efficiency. We have shown, and our customers say so," Pineda adds, "that we have unique technology and methodologies, and Minsait sees it too, becoming an ally in extending the culture of performance in companies."

According to Santiago Benito, head of IT Services Transformation for Financial Services at Minsait, "we see Orizon's value proposition as the perfect complement to make a real impact on our current customers and on new organisations that want to benefit from this innovative value proposition. Efficiency, optimisation and performance are key for every company, and with Orizon we will be able to help them improve their results and see a direct improvement in EBIT."
